Kiav strode through the Terra, wings folded neatly across his broad, muscular back as he sought out what had been rumored the 'Stream of Elements'. He searched for this place, knowing if he were granted a power, he could not only protect his herd and home, but give himself the power he needed to become great; to become what it took to Lead and Guide, and that's what his mission included.
The Stallion slowly came to a halt as the small stream of water entered his view. It's surface was pristine and smooth, the crystal clear liquid moved fluidly over smoothe river-rovs that formed a gentle creek bed. His nostrils flared as the realization slowly came to him.
He was fulfilling his destiny by entering this place. Coming here meant bettering himself and conditiong himself for a herd and family. Kiav nodded solemnly, and strode to the edge of the stream, and abruptly halted at the water's edge. He was apprehensive of the stream, felling as though it should have been a more ceremonious affair than simply stepping into the water.
He also feared it. His inermost self had always been fire. He knew from the day he was foaled that he was a hot-headed, short-tempered beast, but loyal to those he loved and held a menacing wrath for those that sought to do harm unto them. But what if by stepping into these waters he was granted some other element? He felt as though that would extinguish his soul, and so he stopped; and waited; and looked about.
He tossed his dial, displaying also his short attention-span and inability sit still, like a blaze that ripped through a forest. He would eventually grow restless and feel less and less worthy of these gifts to be bestowed upon him if someone did not arrive soon.
Kiav was prepared.
